Basketball Recap: Oakridge Owls vs. St. Mark's Lions
The Oakridge Owls's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They lost to St. Mark at home by a decisive 55-39 margin. Oakridge has not had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Oakridge's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Miles Frazier, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mike Mcdaniels, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Oakridge has not been sharp recently as the team's lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season. As for St. Mark's, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-6.
Oakridge will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Hornets at 7:30 p.m. Greenhill has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 2,245 points over their last 29 games. St. Mark's does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
