Volleyball Recap: Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy Comes Up Short

Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Oostburg Flying Dutchmen.

Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-7, 25-13, 25-18.

Oostburg found their leader in sophomore Kwinn McGranahan, who had 11 digs and two aces.

Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Oostburg, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-13 record this season.

Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy and Oostburg are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Northeastern Wisconsin Lutheran/Providence Academy will challenge Bowler at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Oostburg, after both having extra time off, they and University School of Milwaukee will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
