Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stuart W. Cramer). They strolled past the North Gaston Wildcats with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 74-58. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Storm as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Stuart W. Cramer to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dj Cross, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Cross a new career-high in boards. Makhi Brown was another key player, going 6 of 11 en route to 15 points and eight rebounds.

Stuart W. Cramer smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in seven consecutive contests.

Stuart W. Cramer's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-13. As for North Gaston, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stuart W. Cramer will host South Point at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. South Point knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Stuart W. Cramer likes a good challenge. As for North Gaston, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the North Gaston Wildcats duke it out with the Forestview Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Gaston has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
