Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Caribou walked away with it. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mount Desert Island Trojans on Tuesday, sneaking past 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vikings have posted against the Trojans since April 23, 2022.

Caribou's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Mount Desert Island, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-11.

Looking ahead, Caribou will square off against Cony at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Rams will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight. Mount Desert Island does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
