Flag Football Recap: Felton Grove Comes Up Short

Felton Grove was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were dealt a 41-0 defeat at the hands of the Holly Springs Golden Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Galaxy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina flag football rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Golden Hawks are ranked fourth).

Felton Grove's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Holly Springs, their win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1.

Coincidentally, Felton Grove and Holly Springs will both be playing Middle Creek the next time they take the field. The Golden Hawks will head out to face the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Galaxy will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
