Soccer Recap: Ponderosa's Undefeated Season over After Five Games + How To Watch

After soaring to six goals the game before, Ponderosa was a bit more limited in their contest on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles by a score of 1-0. If Ponderosa were looking for revenge after losing 4-0 to Mountain Vista when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Having lost for the first time this season, Ponderosa fell to 4-1. As for Mountain Vista, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-1-2 record this season.

Ponderosa and Mountain Vista should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Colorado Rankings. The Mustangs will take on Falcon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (44 vs. 166). Meanwhile, Mountain Vista (ranked 17th) will meet Rock Canyon (ranked 81st) at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
