Deer Valley lost to Cactus back in January of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Deer Valley Skyhawks took their game with ease, bagging an 87-34 victory over the Cactus Cobras. The Skyhawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Cactus' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Thomas Natale, who posted six points.

Deer Valley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.2 points per game. As for Cactus, their loss dropped their record down to 5-13.

Deer Valley will face off against Peoria at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cactus, they will square off against Westview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Westview has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
