Summerville came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Sumter Gamecocks by a score of 6-3. The Green Wave have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Gamecocks, too.

Summerville's win bumped their record up to 21-8. As for Sumter, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-15.
