Mineola came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Quitman Bulldogs by a score of 33-26. This was a revenge game for the Yellowjackets: when they faced off against the Bulldogs back in January, they had to take a 46-45 loss.

Mineola has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 matches, which provided a massive bump to their 18-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.1 points per game. As for Quitman, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 23-9 record.
