Vinton County has gone a perfect 3-0 against Gallia Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Vikings will take on the Blue Devils at 7:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Gallia Academy will be up against a hot Vinton County squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Vikings ended the year with a bang, routing Zane Trace 54-33 on Monday.

Meanwhile, Gallia Academy hadn't done well against Ironton recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Blue Devils breezed past the Fighting Tigers to the tune of 53-22. The game was the first time the Blue Devils have beaten the Fighting Tigers on their court since November 30, 2020.

Vinton County's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Gallia Academy, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Vinton County skirted past Gallia Academy 48-46 in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Will the Vikings repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
