Wilmington Christian Academy waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Liberty Christian Academy Heat 65-51. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Leading Wilmington Christian Academy to victory were Trent Davies and Ryan McConekey. Davies shot 45% from the field to rack up 24 points in addition to six rebounds and five steals, while McConekey dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. Davies is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Parker Brown, who posted ten points.

Wilmington Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Coming up, Wilmington Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Wake Christian Academy at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Liberty Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Rocky Mount Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 2.
