Softball Game Preview: Gonzaga Prep Bullpups vs. Ferris Saxons

The Gonzaga Prep Bullpups will face off against the Ferris Saxons at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 19 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Gonzaga Prep and three for Ferris.

Gonzaga Prep lost 13-2 to Mead on Tuesday.

Reese Jones-Ross was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Ferris came up short against Cheney on Monday and fell 10-6.

Cadence Hyndman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. She also hit a triple, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Donyelle Strauss, who scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in three of her five plate appearances.

Gonzaga Prep's record now sits at 0-9. As for Ferris, their record is now 2-5-1.
