Volleyball Preview: Canutillo Eagles vs. Austin Panthers        
        
		
             Canutillo is 10-0 against Austin since August of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Tuesday. The Canutillo Eagles will welcome the Austin Panthers  at 6:30  p.m. The timing is sure in Canutillo's favor as the  team sits on five straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Austin has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
 On Friday, Canutillo made easy work of Fabens  and carried off  a  3-0 win.
 After all that action, the final score was 25-10, 25-13,  25-22.
 Canutillo can attribute much of their success to  Andrea Guerrero, who  had five  aces and four  digs. That's the most  aces  Guerrero has posted since  back in September of 2023.
 Canutillo  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 14  aces. That's the most  aces they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, Austin came up short against  Fabens on Tuesday, falling  3-0.
 The final score came out to 25-10, 25-10,  25-15.
 Canutillo has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-16 record  this season. As for Austin, their loss dropped their record down to 2-14.
 Canutillo was able to grind out a solid  victory over Austin in their previous matchup  back in August of 2021, winning  2-0. Does  Canutillo have another victory up their sleeve, or will Austin turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
