Volleyball Game Preview: Parkway West HOYAS vs. Overbrook Panthers

The Parkway West HOYAS are taking a road trip to square off against the Overbrook Panthers at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Parkway West came up short against Maritime Academy Charter on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Thursday. Overbrook fell 3-1 to Samuel Fels. While Overbrook didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Samuel Fels 25-12 in the first set.

Overbrook started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 12-25, 25-19, 27-25, 25-14.

Parkway West's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Overbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Parkway West was able to grind out a solid win over Overbrook in their previous matchup back in September of 2019, winning 3-1. Will the HOYAS repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
