Volleyball Recap: Harry Lierman and Tommy Knickman Secure Win for Chaminade

There's no place like home for Chaminade, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Gateway Tech Jaguars on Wednesday.

Chaminade had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-18, 26-24, 25-7.

Leading Chaminade to victory were Tommy Knickman and Harry Lierman. Knickman had nine digs, while Lierman had four digs. That's the most digs Knickman has posted since back in April.

Chaminade's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-15. As for Gateway Tech, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Coming up, Chaminade will look to defend their home court on Thursday against St. Louis University at 5:30 p.m. Gateway Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
