The Doherty Memorial Highlanders will head out on the road to challenge the North Middlesex Regional Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Doherty Memorial couldn't beat Tantasqua Regional on Wednesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fifth inning. The Highlanders lost 14-4 to the Warriors.

Meanwhile, North Middlesex Regional was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against Algonquin Regional, falling 10-1.

Doherty Memorial has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season. As for North Middlesex Regional, their loss dropped their record down to 2-17.
