Brock extended their winning streak to six on Friday, bumping them up to 6-0. They blew past the Eagle Mountain Knights, posting a 41-13 win. The 41-point effort marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Brock got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Holt Frazier out in front who threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt. Bryer Mcdonald helped Frazier out on the ground, rushing for 90 yards and a pair of TDs.
Brock was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 205 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 174 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.
Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 11 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Levi Dean, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
As for Eagle Mountain, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record. They were red-hot offensively heading into the contest (they scored no less than 31 points in the three games prior), but Brock's defense proved too tough.
Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was TERRY STARKS, who rushed for 128 yards and one score.
We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Brock is set to face off against their familiar foe Mineral Wells at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Eagle Mountain will take on rival Burkburnett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant wideouts against one another: STARKS and Griffen Johnston.
