After a string of four wins, Bennett's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 58-51 to the Decatur Seahawks. If the Clippers were looking for revenge after losing 70-66 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Decatur's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jonathan Purnell, who went 6 for 12 en route to 15 points and four steals. The dominant performance also gave Purnell a new career-high in blocks (two). Another player making a difference was Davin Chandler, who went 6 of 15 on his way to 20 points along with eight boards and five assists.

Bennett's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-4. As for Decatur, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Bennett has already played their next game, a 54-50 victory against Mardela on the 14th. Decatur has also already played their next contest (against Snow Hill), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
