Carlsbad has gone 9-1 against El Camino recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Carlsbad Lancers will welcome the El Camino Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Carlsbad knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matchups -- so hopefully El Camino likes a good challenge.

Last Wednesday, Carlsbad didn't have too much trouble with Vista as they won 81-64. The victory continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, El Camino came up short against La Costa Canyon on Wednesday and fell 72-64. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

El Camino's defeat dropped their record down to 13-13. As for Carlsbad, they pushed their record up to 22-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Everything went Carlsbad's way against El Camino in their previous matchup back in January, as Carlsbad made off with a 75-53 victory. Will Carlsbad repeat their success, or does El Camino have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
