Overton came tearing into Thursday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Pleasanton Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Overton easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-13.

Gracen Hughes paced Overton's offense, picking up nine kills. Hughes got some help from Kyla Elfgren and her 18 assists. Piper McCarter controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Overton's win bumped their record up to 6-0.

Overton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Axtell on the 9th. As for Pleasanton, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Loomis on the 4th.
