If Eupora wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Kemper County, they should've done a better job of containing Damarius Yates. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 70-44 win on Friday thanks in part to Yates, who rushed for 448 yards and eight touchdowns while picking up 15.4 yards per carry. Thanks to that big game, he is now up to 18 rushing touchdowns on the season.
The team also got some help courtesy of Gabriel Murray, who rushed for 114 yards on only 15 carries. He has become a key player for Kemper County: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 1-4 otherwise.

As for Eupora, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-2.
Coincidentally, Kemper County and Eupora will both be playing Philadelphia the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Wildcats will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st.
