Timpview and Alta are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Thunderbirds challenge the Hawks at 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Timpview is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They really took it to Kearns for the full four quarters, racking up a 67-31 win. The Thunderbirds have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Alta sidestepped Viewmont for a 51-48 victory.

Alta pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Timpview, their victory bumped their record up to 19-5.

Timpview came up short against Alta in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, falling 72-60. Can Timpview avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
