Atascocita came tearing into Friday's matchup with nine straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Humble Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Atascocita walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-6, 25-21.

Tahlia Parker paced Atascocita's offense, picking up nine kills. Parker got some help from Gracie Williams and her 20 assists. Finally, Samaria Williams kept Atascocita's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Atascocita's win bumped their record up to 21-7. As for Humble, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-20 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Atascocita will take on rival Kingwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Humble is set to challenge their familiar foe King at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
