Volleyball Recap: Lakewood Takes a Loss

Lakewood lost against Bay back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Rangers fell 3-1 to the Rockets. The Rangers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakewood was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Bay work for it, especially in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-19, 23-25, 26-24.

Despite the loss, Lakewood still got an impressive performance from Audrey McNulty, who had 18 digs and four aces. McNulty has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last nine times she's played.

Lakewood now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Lakewood will venture away from home to face off against North Olmsted at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Rangers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bay, they will welcome Normandy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
