Football Game Recap: Gateway Christian vs. Dora

After a disappointing 1 points in the matchup before, Gateway Christian made sure to put some points up on the board against Dora on Friday. Gateway Christian took the matchup and then some with a 48-6 victory over Dora. Followers of Gateway Christian probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.

Gateway Christian's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 18 first-half points. Dora countered with 6 points, leaving the score at 18-6 going into the half. Gateway Christian put the game away in the third quarter with 22 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. The win bumped their record up to 4-0. The loss dropped Dora's record to 4-2.

Gateway Christian will stay at home next week against Mesilla Valley Christian School at 7:00 PM. Gateway Christian are cruising in on a four-game winning streak while Mesilla Valley Christian School are stumbling in off of four consecutive losses. As for Dora, they will face off against Logan.
