Baseball Recap: Bolingbrook Takes a Loss

Bolingbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 12-3 to the Yorkville Foxes. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Foxes this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-0 loss on Tuesday.

Bolingbrook saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Omarion Carter, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double. Samual Pitones was another, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Bolingbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Yorkville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bolingbrook will welcome Oswego at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Yorkville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Glenbrook North at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
