Volleyball Recap: Notre Dame Academy's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Notre Dame Academy had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West. This was payback for the Tritons, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Notre Dame Academy was actually outscored in aggregate across those three sets (59-56), but they still managed to win. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-20, 16-14.

Notre Dame Academy's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Notre Dame Academy will head out to take on Appleton North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Tritons' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pewaukee at 6:30 p.m. on September 17. The game will also give New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West their first taste of in-conference action this season.
