Branham won the last time they faced Leland and things went their way on Thursday too. The Bruins came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bruins.

Branham was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-18, 24-26, 25-15.

Nick Mego paced Branham's offense, picking up 19 kills. Mego got some help from Patrick Willson and his 46 assists. Mego was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Branham's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Leland, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-16.

Branham didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Archbishop Mitty on the 25th. As for Leland, they are taking a road trip to take on Piedmont Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Chargers surely won't give up without a fight.
