Basketball Preview: Giltner Hornets vs. Deshler Dragons
Giltner has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Deshler Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Monday, Giltner was able to grind out a solid win over the Cardinals, taking the game 32-22.
Giltner's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Avery Reeson, who scored ten points along with six steals. Reeson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played. Kinley Kaczor was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Deshler beat the Warriors 40-27 on Saturday.
Giltner's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Deshler, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.
