Basketball Recap: Prairie City Comes Up Short

Prairie City lost against Crane two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Prairie City Panthers took a blow against the Crane Mustangs, falling 64-36. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon basketball rankings (they are ranked 154th, while the Mustangs are ranked 23rd).

Prairie City's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Crane, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 22-0.

Prairie City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 66-40 win against Huntington on the 4th. As for Crane, they will be playing at home against Stanfield at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
