The Myers Park Mustangs will challenge the Cuthbertson Cavaliers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Myers Park will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Myers Park lost a heartbreaker the last time they played South Mecklenburg, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's contest. Myers Park blew past South Mecklenburg 10-4 on Tuesday. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by six runs or more this season.
Anna Eason spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on five hits.

Meanwhile, Cuthbertson owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Tuesday. They came out on top against Porter Ridge by a score of 3-0. That's two games straight that the Cavaliers have won by exactly three runs.
The result came thanks to Georgia McConnell's shutout, as she gave up just five hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Cuthbertson saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gabby Martens, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another was Grace Murray, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
Myers Park pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to hits: they averaged an imposing 9.67 hits in those games compared to only 5.14 in the others. As for Cuthbertson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.
