Volleyball Game Preview: Cohasset Skippers vs. Weymouth Wildcats

The Cohasset Skippers will face off against the Weymouth Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Friday, Cohasset came up short against Hanover and fell 3-1. The Skippers haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Cohasset started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-21, 25-21, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Weymouth had to endure a four-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Walpole 3-2.

Weymouth was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 23-25, 20-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Cohasset's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Weymouth, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-12.

Cohasset beat Weymouth 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September. Do the Skippers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
