Deerfield-Windsor extended their winning streak (dating back to last season) to six on Friday, bumping them up to 3-0. Everything went their way against the Westfield School Hornets as they made off with a 33-7 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Knights have posted against the Hornets since September 9, 2016.

Deerfield-Windsor's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lane Sceals led the charge by throwing for 255 yards and four touchdowns. Another pass catcher making a difference was Gabe Daniel, who picked up 133 receiving yards and one score.

Deerfield-Windsor didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Westfield School to a completion percentage of just 50%. The team can thank Grier Morey for the heroic effort on defense: he. Deerfield-Windsor wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 61.3%.

Deerfield-Windsor has already played their next contest, a 28-8 win against Southwest Georgia Academy on the 5th. As for Westfield School, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tiftarea Academy at 7:30 p.m. on the 12th.
