Volleyball Recap: San Diego Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Aadit Desai and Jorge Adame Jr.

San Diego suffered their biggest loss since April 25, 2024 on Wednesday. They lost 3-0 to the Morse Tigers. The Cavers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

While San Diego was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Morse's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-21, 26-24.

San Diego's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Jorge Adame Jr., who had 16 digs, and Aadit Desai, who had three aces. Adame Jr. is crushing it when it comes to digs: he's had at least 13 every time he's taken the court this season.

Morse found their leader in sophomore Nowitzki Hillberg, who had 11 digs and two aces.

San Diego's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Morse, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

San Diego has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Madison on the 11th. As for Morse, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Kearny on the 11th.
