Volleyball Recap: Avalon Finds Home Court Redemption Against Kemp

There's no place like home for Avalon, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Kemp Yellowjackets on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Avalon not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Kemp between 18 and 20 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18.

Avalon's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Kemp, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Avalon has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Rice on the 16th. As for Kemp, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Frost on the 16th.
