Basketball Recap: Mandarin's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Mandarin's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They snuck past the ED White Commanders with a 37-33 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.

It was another big night for Reese Holman, who almost dropped a triple-double on 16 points, ten boards, and nine steals. Another player making a difference was Serenity Bustos, who posted nine points.

With the victory, Mandarin broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-7. As for ED White, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mandarin will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sandalwood at 7:00 p.m. on January 21st. As for ED White, they will face off against Middleburg at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th.
