Volleyball Game Preview: Sherman Oaks CES Knights vs. King/Drew Golden Eagles

The Sherman Oaks CES Knights will square off against the King/Drew Golden Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Wednesday, Sherman Oaks CES made easy work of Northridge Academy and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Pumas: they've now won five in a row.

While Sherman Oaks CES won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-23, 25-19.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, King/Drew rose to the challenge on Monday. They came out on top against the Titans by a score of 3-1.

Sherman Oaks CES pushed their record up to 13-14-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for King/Drew, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-10 record this season.
