Basketball Recap: Long Beach Takes a Loss

Long Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 55-44 to the Valley Stream Central Eagles. The match marked the Marines' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Long Beach's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Valley Stream Central, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

As of now, neither Long Beach nor Valley Stream Central have any future games scheduled.
