Baseball Recap: Halls Has No Trouble Against Middleton

Halls had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over Middleton on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Halls also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Landon Pipkin looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had over his last three matchups.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Tucker Ozment, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. Jackson Booker was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Halls' victory bumped their record up to 10-7. As for Middleton, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Halls beat Middleton by a score of 11-3 later that day.
