Basketball Game Preview: McCreary Central Raiders vs. Danville Admirals

McCreary Central and Danville are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2016, but not for long. The McCreary Central Raiders will challenge the Danville Admirals at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

McCreary Central came up short against Pulaski County on Tuesday, falling 74-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Raiders have suffered against the Maroons since November 29, 2018.

Meanwhile, Danville lost to Southwestern on the road by a 63-46 margin on Tuesday. The Admirals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McCreary Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Danville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

McCreary Central didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Danville in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 63-57 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for McCreary Central since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
