Football Recap: Warwick Snags Sixth Win in Last Seven Games

After losing to Shippensburg the last time they met, Warwick decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Warriors strolled past the Greyhounds with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 23-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 81st, while the Greyhounds are ranked 202nd).

Warwick has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.6 points on average over those games. As for Shippensburg, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-4.

Coming up, Warwick will square off against Solanco at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Shippensburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
