Siegel was the 12-2 winner over Tullahoma when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Stars fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 11-10 on Wednesday. The Stars' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Auburn Karls led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. She also scored a run, marking her first of the season. Lauren Fuss was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Siegel's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1. As for Tullahoma, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5.

Looking ahead, Siegel will take on Huntsville in a tournament on Friday. As for Tullahoma, they will venture away from home to take on Franklin County at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
