Basketball Recap: Trinity Piles Up the Points Against Dover

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Trinity). They claimed a resounding 86-39 victory over the Dover Green Wave. The Pioneers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 31 points or more this season.

Trinity's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Dover, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

Trinity will welcome Bishop Guertin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Trinity is facing Bishop Guertin at the right time seeing as Bishop Guertin is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Dover, they will head out on the road to challenge Portsmouth at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Portsmouth knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Dover likes a good challenge.
