Red Oak is 5-0 against Terrell since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Red Oak Hawks will take on the Terrell Tigers at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Red Oak has four straight wins, Terrell has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Red Oak beat Crandall 38-33. Given the Hawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 146th, while the Pirates are ranked 324th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Terrell faced off against Midlothian on Saturday. Terrell came up short against Midlothian, falling 57-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Tigers have suffered since December 17, 2024.

Markeita Shaw was Terrell's leading scorer, having posted seven points.

Red Oak has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.3 points per game. As for Terrell, their loss dropped their record down to 11-16.

Everything came up roses for Red Oak against Terrell in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 76-37 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Red Oak since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
