Recap: Skyview Hawks vs. Bishop Kelly Knights
It was a good run, but The Skyview Hawks unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 36-7 defeat at the hands of Bishop Kelly. The low total for Skyview limited their streak of high-flying scores to five in a row.
Mason Krahn and Cache Beus, Skyview certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Krahn picked up 107 receiving yards and a touchdown, while Beus threw for 176 yards and a touchdown.
Skyview's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Bishop Kelly, their win was their ninth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 9-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Skyview will take on Shelley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Idaho (Shelley is ranked 22nd, while Skyview is ranked 26th). As for Bishop Kelly, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Burley at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th.
