Basketball Game Preview: Southeast Whitfield County Raiders vs. Woodland Wildcats

The Southeast Whitfield County Raiders are taking a road trip to challenge the Woodland Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Saturday, Southeast Whitfield County was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 45-39 to North Murray. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Woodland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 50-29 to Unity Christian.

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Southeast Whitfield County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Southeast Whitfield County came up short against Woodland in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 39-31. Can Southeast Whitfield County avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
