Softball Recap: Westlake Comes Up Short

If Westlake was feeling good fresh off their 17-6 takedown of Hackberry last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Westlake Rams came up short against the Starks Panthers on Thursday, falling 30-23. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (17), the Rams still had to take the loss.

Westlake dropped their record down to 2-3 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Westlake has already played their next matchup (against Hackberry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Starks, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Lake Charles College Prep at 5:00 p.m.
