Midwest Central and Lewistown are an even 4-4 against one another since February of 2015, but not for long. The Midwest Central Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lewistown Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, Midwest Central narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Hartsburg-Emden 62-60. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Raiders have posted against the Stags since February 17, 2015.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lewistown). They claimed a resounding 58-14 victory over Greenview. With the Indians ahead 36-5 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Midwest Central's win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 7-20. As for Lewistown, their victory bumped their record up to 5-22.

Midwest Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Lewistown when the teams last played back in February of 2024, sneaking past 54-51. Does Midwest Central have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lewistown turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
