Softball Recap: Anderson Cubs vs. Central Valley Falcons
Anderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 12-2 to the Central Valley Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-4 two weeks ago.
Kolbee Wimmer spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered six earned (and six unearned) runs on ten hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.
