Recap: Beloit Trojans vs. Hoisington Cardinals
The Beloit Trojans put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 48-37 victory over Hoisington. Given Beloit's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while Hoisington is ranked 120th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Bryce Beisner was his usual excellent self, scoring 18 points along with eight rebounds. Lance Lundine was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Beloit's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-0. As for Hoisington, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Beloit will face off against Chapman at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hoisington, they will head out on the road to face off against Haven at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Haven is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
